Sinkiang Nitrate Minerals Co., Ltd (SNM) was established on Oct.31st,2005 by Wanxiang Holding Corporation in China. The registered capital is 100 million Yuan RMB. The main business of the company is production and sales of a series of natural nitrate products and development of specialty NPK fertilizers for cash crops.
With the enterprise culture and investment principle of Wanxiang Corporation, SNM endeavours to found an important production base of natural potassium nitrate and sodium nitrate in Xinjiang,China through making use of the unique saltpeter mine newly discovered in Xinjiang. By developing domestic and international markets continuously, SNM will become one of the biggest producers of nitrate products in the world.
The saltpeter resources of the company locates in Turpan basin. The total area of the mine is about 10,000 km2. The discovered deposit is about 220 million metric tons. It is the sole natural nitrate minerals in China and the deposit is in the first place in the world.
The production capacity of the company will reach 50,000 metric tons of potassium(sodium) nitrate in 2009 and 1.2 million metric tons in 2012.With the internationally advanced production process, SNM produces industrial and agricultural grade prilled and granular potassium nitrate and sodium nitrate. The products of the company contain no chemical additives and are absolutely natural and “green” and environment-friendly.
The production base of SNM is located in Shanshan county of Xinjiang region which is 30 km away from Shanshan railway station, 300 meters from No.312 highway and 300 km from Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang region. It is convenient in both rail and truck transportation.
